The Valley of the Butterflies (Petaloudes) is located in the northern part of Rhodes, about 26 km from Rhodes Town and 10 km from the airport, between the villages of Paradisi and Theologos.

The butterflies are most active between mid-June and September. For a quieter, cooler experience, visit early in the morning.

The Valley is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The full walk takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace. It’s an easy-to-moderate trail with shaded paths, wooden bridges, and plenty of peaceful spots to pause and enjoy the surroundings.
